The shop, and what comes out of the kitchen
The cakes, traybakes and toasties are made here. The coffee is specialty and pulled to order.
The shop
A small room with a lot of cake.
Bramble & Bean is a small room off the high street: worn plaster, a brick wall, one big window and a row of orange chairs. There are a handful of tables inside and a couple out front under the umbrellas — which is why it feels more like someone's front room than a coffee chain.
The coffee is specialty. The toasties are pressed to order. The vegan case gets restocked most mornings, and if you don't see what you want, ask — there's usually more in the back.

The coffee was excellent, and the toastie we had was delicious. A great little spot to take a break and recharge.
The room is warm and very peaceful. The food was lovely and the ingredients clearly well chosen.
Very helpful staff, who brought out more vegan options from the back. It's wonderful to find a cafe that thinks about every customer.
